PHL305 commentary and participation requirements clarified (I
hope):
Your grade for the commentary component will be based on your best 7
of 8 submissions from the following:
-
1 creation story retelling;
-
7 standard format commentaries on the assigned readings
-
one on Plantinga
-
six on Pennock.
The standard format commentaries are due in class on the day the
reading is discussed. Late submissions will be accepted ONLY in
the form of online forum submissions following the guidelines below.
Forum submitted commentaries will receive participation credit according
to the following scale:
-
on or before the class meeting in question: 5 pts.
-
on or before the meeting of the next class: 3 pts.
-
on or before the meeting of the next next class: 1 pt.
Students who submit hardcopy in class may, of course, also submit e-copies
of their commentaries online for additional participation credit as just
described.
