PHL 305: Forum Contribution: Name _____________________________

INSTRUCTIONS:  This form is for documenting your forum contributions.  To estimate your credit give yourself 1-3 points for each contribution depending on your estimate of its length and qualities.  Roughly speaking: brief remarks (a short sentence or two) = 1; slightly more extensive remarks (a short paragraph or so) = 2; substantial discussions (long paragraph or more) = 3.  As your instructor, I reserve the right to make final determinations on credit awarded for each contribution.

CLASS PARTICIPATION: Your class participation grade will be based on a standard scale (90%=A, 80%=B, etc.) counting 100 pts. as 100%.  Participation grade components:.

• Attendance: 2 points for each lecture session; 5 pts./class for each presentation/discussion session.  Perfect attendance would accumulate approximately 70 points (actual totals may vary slightly from course to course). {F02: =72 + 5 e-mail}
• Forum Participation: 3/2/1pts. (as described above).
